My street needs cleaning. How do I report it?

How often should my street be cleaned?
All streets are cleaned in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990, with frequency of cleaning depending upon which category your street falls in. Categories are determined by the Act, according to how heavily they are used. Please use the link here to view Environmental Protection Act 1990 (EPA) guidance notes.
Is Tavistock's Pannier Market and surrounding areas included in the street cleaning programme?
No, these are the reponsibility of Tavistock Town Council. They can be contacted on 01822 613529.
Do you inspect cleanliness of streets?
We inspect core areas such as Town Centres regularly and other areas on a less frequent basis. We investigate all complaints with respect to street cleanliness and resolve the problem where appropriate.
There are slippery pavements caused by falling leaves. Who do I report this to?
