Welcome to the West Devon Borough Council website.

The Mayor is seeking out for recognition a West Devon individual or a firm or other organisation who/which:

• has done something particularly noteworthy within the Borough, or
• has enhanced the reputation of the Borough on the national stage

• made a significant contribution to the conservation and protection of the natural environment of West Devon

An individual can include a person temporarily living away from the Borough but whose main place of residence remains in West Devon

Three Awards are to be made - a nomination form for each category is attached. Each form sets out the eligibility criteria. A nominator can put forward nominations in each category and for as many nominees as they wish.

JUDGING

The Judges will be the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and one other Councillor who will make their decision not later than Friday 19 March 2010 and the winners (and persons nominating them) will be notified immediately thereafter.
