Welcome to the West Devon Borough Council website.

The bring services takes garden waste, including grass cuttings, branches up to the thickness of a wrist, hedge trimmings, weeds, plants, leaves and twigs, as well as corrugated card. These should be suitably bagged - old compost sacks are ideal - and the crew will happily help empty and return them to use again.   The material collected will be composted locally.

The service will be in:

Yelverton (Leg O'Mutton car park) from 9am - 1pm and Peter Tavy (junction of lane to Inn) from 2pm - 4pm on August 7th, August 28th, September 18th and October 9th 

South Zeal (recreation ground car park) from 9am - 12 noon and Hatherleigh (Market car park) from 1pm - 4pm on July 24, August 14th, September 4th and September 25th

Northlew (the Square) from 9am - 12 noon and Bratton Clovelly (Parish Hall car park) from 1pm - 4pm on July 31, August 21st, September 11th

As the Service operates in communal areas please do not just leave waste at the site.  Trade waste cannot be accepted.
