Our Promise to you, the Customer
When we process a standard or expedited search for you, we promise to reply within a specified time. If we come across any significant problems whilst working on the search, we will phone to let you know why there is a delay and give a revised completion time.
- all standard searches will be returned with 10 working days.
- all expedited searches will be completed within 3 working days (result being emailed back to the enquirer).
If we don't meet the above deadlines we will let you know what is happening and also offer to fax the result to you as soon as it is available (at no extra cost).
Please note: a standard search is one that does not have any CON29 O enquiries (these can take a great deal of time to research and we are not always able to say exactly how long). The time limits will only apply to searches submitted with the correct address, fees and three copies of a site plan. It is important that, where necessary, the highways adjoining the property are identified in Box C on the CON29R.
The time limits will not apply if there are any other outstanding or unresolved matters such as highways agreements, breaches of planning control, enforcement or Environmental Health issues. If this happens we will let you know as soon as possible.
