The Borough Council has established three 'Parish Links' that cover the North, East and South of the West Devon area (please see attached map for details)

The main purpose of the Parish Link meetings is to provide an opportunity for greater liaison and to develop closer working relations between the local town and parish councils, West Devon Borough Council, Devon County Council and the Dartmoor National Park Authority.

Examples of these objectives being met include discussions on the Town and Parish (TAP) Fund, and the Parish Links themselves being administered by the local parish clerks.

Each Parish Link meets four times per year and are open to interested members of the public. The meetings commence at 7.30 p.m. (Northern & Eastern) and at 7.00 p.m. (Southern). Future scheduled meeting dates and venues are as follows:

Occasionally, there is also a need to call a 'Super Link' meeting.  A 'Super Link' is simply a joint meeting of all three Parish Link areas to which all town and parish councils in the Borough are invited to attend.
