Please be aware that we can only collect dogs that are safely secured under your control.

Check to see if you can return the dog to its owners by:

  • Referring to the information on the collar.
  • Local neighbour enquiries.
  • Taking it to a vet to scan for an identity microchip.

If you cannot contact the owner:

Are you able to take the dog to our Kennels (please see the link on the right hand side of this page).

If so, please contact us on 01822 813600 so we can let the kennels know to expect you.

If you are unable to do any of the above:

Please report it to us.  Please report as much of the following information as possible:

  • Breed/sex of dog;
  • Colour & distinguishing features;
  • Is it friendly and approachable?
  • Where and when was it found?
  • Does the dog have any identification?
  • Any other relevant information?

If you need the dog to be collected:

Between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m., please either complete details on the "ReportIt" link above or call us on 01822 813600.

Please note:

Outside of working  hours, your call will be transferred to a call handling service who will talk you through what you need to do next.
