West Devon Borough Council's annual subscription service costs £40 per year and one subscription provides four generous reusable sacks, which are collected every fortnight on the same day of the week as your other waste collections. Subscriptions run until 31 March each year.

Cllr Caroline Mott, West Devon Lead Member for Environment, said: "Signing up to our garden waste service is great value for money and also very convenient for those who regularly tend to their garden. If you're cutting the lawn every other week, pruning your bushes or tending to a vegetable patch, knowing you can just put the waste in a sack ahead of your collection can make gardening tasks so much easier."

Once your garden sacks have been delivered, you simply need to fill them and leave them at the usual point on your next scheduled collection day. If you're subscribing for the first time, we aim to deliver your green sacks within 10 working days of you signing up.

An annual cost of £40 applies for fortnightly collections running until 31 March each year, excluding for two weeks in December when the service is closed for Christmas.
