NHS Health Advice

Official blue and white NHS logoThis winter is likely to be more difficult than most, due to the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on health services across the UK.

The NHS have issued the following advice:

  • Find out where to get help if you are unwell - try your local pharmacist, NHS 111 or a minor injuries unit instead of A&E
  • Get a flu jab - you may be entitled to a free vaccine or you can buy them through many pharmacies
  • Keep your home warm - aim for at least 18 degrees
  • Check in on vulnerable neighbours and relatives
