Devon Games to Inspire 2009
Previously known as Devon Youth Games, this year’s event will take place on Sunday July 5, hosted by North Devon District Council. The Games, sponsored by the RELAYS (Regional Educational Legacy in Arts and Youth Sport) project using Olympic legacy money, will tie in with the national lead-up to the 2012 London Olympics, with a focus on culture as well as the usual sporting events.

A High Court challenge to the Inspector's decision dated 22nd March 2007 on this appeal has been made. The Court of Appeal has ordered that the Planning Inspectorate decide the appeal again. The appeal inquiry will commence on 23rd July 2009.
