Saturday Bring Returns. The garden waste and thick card collection service, which operates from various locations throughout the borough, will be starting again - in time for those enthusiastic garden spring-cleaners!

Outreach Success at Broadwoodkelly. The residents of Broadwoodkelly and the surrounding area benefited from a specially extended Friday Market recently, when West Devon Connect’s Outreach team took their services along to the popular local event.

New Home for Town Tourist Information Centre. In readiness for the move into its new home, Tavistock Tourist Information Centre in Bedford Square will be closing its doors on Saturday March 6 until Monday March 15, when the new Centre at the Archway, Court Gate will be open to the public.

Community and PACT Event for Buckland Monachorum. West Devon Connect casts its net even wider when it joins forces with Partners And Communities Together to run a community event in Buckland Monachorum on Wednesday March 10.

New contracts to bring many benefits for residents. New contracts for refuse and recycling collections and the cleaning of streets and public toilets have been awarded by West Devon Borough Council and will begin on April 1, 2010.

Job Centre Plus and Pension Service to join March Outreach. Topical advice on jobs and pensions will be available at some of the regular West Devon Outreach service next month, when Job Centre Plus and the Pension Service will be joining the surgeries at selected venues throughout the Borough.

General Election Information for West Devon Residents. West Devon residents need to be aware that the Borough now falls within two constituencies when the next General Election is held.
